Class Descriptions



BOXING CIRCUIT
A great class for anyone wanting to burn fat and improve fitness, hand eye coordination, and speed. Combining heavy bag work with cardio exercise in a circuit format ensures a fun and effective class no matter your fitness levels! All equipment is provided.

CIRCUIT
The circuit combines many Cardio and resistance training elements of the other classes. One of the best ways to increase your fitness and burn fat while having fun. Great for those who like variation in their training as this class is never the same twice!

SPIN
A stationary cycling class to music. Varying terrain will help you to increase your cardiovascular fitness.

Good easy to learn class, no co-ordination required.

A low impact class and you control the resistance so it’s as hard as you make it.


PUMP
This class is based around resistance training using barbells and dumbbells along with bodyweight exercises to greatly improve muscle tone. A great way for inexperienced gym users to learn weight training techniques in a supervised setting. You get to choose your own weights so is suitable for all levels.

THE CORE STRENGTH CLASS
The core strength class incorporates proven, effective and easy to learn abdominal exercises and techniques to tone and strengthen not only the visible Rectus abdominus muscles or 6 pack, but also the Transverse Abdominus (TVA) and oblique muscles.

TVA muscles are the deepest and most crucial muscles of the core as they attach to the spine and play a large part in stability of the lower back and postural strength.

This class uses Swiss ball and floor exercises, all equipment is supplied.

THIGHS/BUNS/ABS
This class involves floor exercises targeting the trouble areas from the thighs to the abs and everything in between. A great way to tone, thin and strengthen in a low impact and easy to learn class!

PILATES
We have the pleasure of welcoming Julie Goddard a highly experienced and trained Pilates’ instructor. Pilates’ is a program targeted at posture alignment, core strength and overall physical wellbeing that has become something of a world wide phenomenon.



BOOTCAMP
This class has a mix of interval training, strength training, fitness building and body weight exercises.  There is a variety of exercises designed to challenge you to push yourself to new levels.  This class will sometimes be run as an outdoor session.  It will be challenging yet you will leave with a huge feeling of achievement.


SPIN-PUMP
This class incorporates the benefits of “Spin” and “Pump” into one session.  You will alternate between bike work to weighted exercises, developing your fitness, burning fat and toning your muscles all at once. 


ALIVE & KICKING
This class is a cardio based class with a kickboxing focus.  This is a great class to burn fat, get your heart pumping, and improve your co-ordination.  No kickboxing skill is required to take part.
